Even before formal administration has started, Chandrababu Naidu and KCR, the CMs of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are at loggerheads already over many issues. The first such issue was water release from Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. And this was followed by contention over power share ratio.
As predicted, every issue between new states is expected to snowball into a controversy causing lot of heartburn for people of both states. Now KCR is again running to PM Modi over the power issue while Krishna delta is eagerly awaiting water to be released and next three months will witness the actual problems related to employee transfer and other issues based on local and non-local criteria.
Just like many political analysts and experts have predicted, the very act of bifurcation happened in a mindless manner and they were warning of the realistic issues which are quite complicated. Let’s see if Modi can bring peace between two sides!
