The game starts… says YSRCP from the opposition status!!!

YSR Congress party after losing the battle of 2014 general elections and sticking back only to the opposition party in the state of Andhrapradesh is had a review meeting today at Idupulapaya of the YSR district. The members and winning MLAs have unanimously elected party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy as the party’s President and leader of Legislative floor after offering their tributes at the memorial of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

The party members have then reviewed the reasons for their defeat as a very marginal one of about 1.9 percent of votes. Immediately after this short review, YSRCP President Jagan seemed to have taken up the responsibilities of the opposition leader and start fighting for the development of Andhrapradesh state. He said that from the day he and his mother came out of the then ruling Congress party have been fighting for the people and would now continue with the extended strength of 70 MLAs and 9 MPs of  both the states.

Jagan stated that the winning Telugudesam party has made many greed factor promises to the peope of Andhrapradesh like the loan waivers, which practically are not possible for a nascent state like Andhrapradesh. He explained at almost 80,000  crore rupees are needed to take up the loan waiver burden now and questioned how is this possible. Jagan clarified that he could have also made such false promises in his election campaigns but such ones which  cannot be implemented may give power but would impact heavily on the party and leader’s credibility, which is not good.

Jagan explained that this was the reason why he had denied though many have pressurized him to give loan waiver promises. This explanation by Jagan was heartily agreed by all the party’s members and may be all his followers too. Finally YSRCP flagged off its role as opposition to continuously start fighting for the people. So, the game has begun now from YSRCP to fight implementation of TDP’s promises.
