Young actress Avika Gor who has become a superstar overnight with just one hit film [Uyyala Jampala] got injured in Mumbai. She has injured her leg in Mumbai while shooting for a Hindi serial there. She was advised two weeks of complete rest to fully recover. Avika is supposed to be in Hyderabad for taking part in the shooting of her new Telugu film titled Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki.
Due to this injury the shooting schedule was disturbed. However the makers say Avika is recovering at a brisk pace and will join the film shoot in Hyderabad very soon. The producer of this film Giridhar Mamidepalli said “The shooting of ‘Lakshmi Rave Ma Intiki’ film was halted as Avika Gor got injured in the serial shooting in Mumbai. The shooting will be started as soon as Avika recovered from the injury. The talkie part of the film will be completed by July 15”.
Though she is just one film old in Tollywood, Avika has got a strong popularity thanks to her TV serial ‘Chinnari Pellikuthuru’. The success of Uyyala Jampala has brought her into the limelight and got her many offers - but she has signed only a couple of them due to her prior commitments. Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki features Naga Shaurya [Oohalu Gusagusalaade film fame] as the hero and the renowned writer Nandyala Ravi is making his debut as a director.
