Companies not Moving to AP: KTR

Reacting to the wide-spread reports that most of the companies are moving out of Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana state Panchayati Raj and Information Technology Minister K. Taraka Ramarao denied the reports. Quoting an instance, KTR said, "I have recommended an IT company to set up its office in Uppal or Shamshabad but they have gently turned down by stating that they will set up office only in Gachibowli. If one is not ready to leave Gachibowli in first place, how do they move out of Hyderabad?"

Interacting with the business heads of Information and Communication Technology industries, KCR made it clear that Hyderabad continues to be destination for IT industry. KTR said that "there is no clarity yet on the tax exumptions, benefits that Andhra Pradesh is going to get. Centre has said that Telangana will get the same benefits as AP get."

First Wi-Fi City in India

KTR said that Hyderabad will be made such that it would be a hot cake for the IT investments. Compared to previous year, he said he is expecting more exports. revenue this year. KTR vowed to make Hyderabad as the largest Incubation Hub in India and as the first Wi-Fi city in India.


Placements' TASK

KTR said that efforts are being made to launch TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill, Knowledge) which ensure development of skill set in Engineering, MCA students to meet the needs of industries. He asked companies to form a consortium and train the students in necessary skills. KTR urged Companies to recruit the students from campuses through placements.

T-Movement has no effect on Business


Setting the record straight, KTR said that Telangana movement has no effect neither on the business or investments. KTR blamed misgovernance of previous State government and Central government for the decrease of investments in Hyderabad. KTR alleged that both governments have lacked will, conviction to develop Hyderabad.

No Power Cuts!

KTR promised to make Telangana State with no power cuts in the next three years. He said that two Hardware Parks are being set up near Maheshwaram. It is expected that Rs 2600 crore investments. He added that transparent policy will be adopted for ITIR. KTR said that Telecom companies are keen to set up their firms in Hyderabad and looking forward to bring 4G Technology.

50-50

Special Chief Secretary Pradeep Chandra said that Telangana government is willing to fund if a company/firm has 'good' ideas. If a firm has good proposal and ready to put in 50% investment, Government is all set to fund the remaining 50% investment. Cyberabad Police Commissioner ensured full security to IT Offices and its employees.
