TDP top gun and Rajya Sabha MP Y Sujana Chowdhary has said that Center has been asked to fund Rs.7000 crore immediately to speed up works on Polavaram Project.
Speaking to reporters on the whirlwind visit of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu at Delhi meeting several ministers - Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Power Minister Piush Goel, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the TDP MP said the center has been asked to meet the deficit in state budget and also release funds for construction of new state capital.
Sujana Chowdhary said Chandrababu Naidu made a strong case to centre for immediate take up of projects like IIT, IIM and AIMS in seenandhra to provide confidence in the people that NDA government had not deserted them.
