Babu Fires, Jagan Speechless

The five-day-long first session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly has concluded with "war of words" between ruling party and opposition party. Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao has adjourned the house sine die.

Discussing on Governor ESL Narsimhan's speech on the fifth day, Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu lashed out at Jagan Reddy for "politicizing" issues. The experience and seniority of Chandra Babu is conspicuous as he responded to Jagan's questions point by point. At one point, Babu launched scathing attack against Jagan. He asked Jagan, "Handover all the looted money to the government and all the loans will be waived off immediately. Else wait till we do it with other options."

Jagan Reddy was visibly speechless while senior leaders of YSR Congress tumbled as Chandra Babu fired at Jagan. Babu added, "People have trusted that TDP alone could overcome difficulties for the new State and set it back on track. Congress, in the past ten years, has ruined the governance with corruption. Due to them, the prices of daily needs have gone up enormously. India has rich resources. If one could use them effectively, definitely development is possible."
