TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu had taken pro active steps to provide immediate relief and succor to Telugu families caught in the Chennai building collapse in which 20 persons were injured.
According to-latest reports 15 construction labor from Vizianagaram were caught in the debris of the building. Chandrababu Naidu also spoke to TN CM Jayalalitha and inquired over relief and rehabilitation measures.
Chief secretary Rao contacted the collector of Kanchivaram and got details of the Telugu families caught in the debris and measures taken to rescue them.
It is said that over 100 workers from Bihar and UP were caught in the collapse of the 13 floor building. 'Joint collector of Vizianagaram has been asked to to rush to Chennai' said an official spokesman.
