Andhra beauty Anjali who made her debut in Tollywood with Photo later went on to star in Premalekha Rasa. But with no offers she shifted to her base to Chennai and endeared Tamil Tambis with her performances in Angadi Theru (Shopping Mall), Engeyum Eppodum (Journey) and Kalakalappu.
Tollywood at once took notice of her and when filmmakers of Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh starrer Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu found that most of the top stars refused to star as sister in law of Mahesh, they roped Anjali. Anjali turned overnight star with her performance as Seetha and she started getting offers from Tollywood stars.
However when everything started going smoothly for her with films like Balupu, she suddenly disappeared from the sets of Kollywood film directed by Kalanjiyum alleging torture from her aunt. This put a blackmark on her career and after Masala in Tollywood she didnot get any films in Tamil and Telugu.
To the top of it, her defying of court orders asking her to appear before it in Chennai and also not honouring her commitments in Kollywood put a question mark on her career. With Anjali not showing any signs of coming down and making peace and Kollywood banning her to the top of it her bloated structure, makes one wonder whether Anjali is really interested in acting?
