There are many doubts on continuing the prestigious Hyderabad Metro rail project. As per latest buzz, that Larsen & Turbo (L&T) may withdraw from half-way completed project. There is no confirmation either from Government authorities or from L&T officials. But news spread that L&T made intimation to the TRS Government saying that it will not interested to continue this project.
TRS Government called up L&T authorities to discuss ongoing Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. During their discussion Telangana Chief Minister KCR made it clear to maintain underground construction without disturbing Heritage and Historical Monuments. This sudden twist is the reason for L&T withdraw from the project. L&T feel that it was incorrect to put conditions in the middle. KCR was made it clear during the election campaign.
“TRS will destroy all constructed Metro Pillars soon after TRS came into the power.” L&T has constructed all Pillars in the city and also imported 3 Metro rails for trail run. L&T has planned to run first phase will be completed on August 15, 2015. L&T is not satisfied on latest developments after TRS Government take the charge. KCR wants to change the design and asked to construct underground Metro Rail. L&T is helpless in constructing underground Metro Rail system. This was not good for Telangana government, if L&T stops Hyderabad Metro Rail in the middle.
