Babu Reacted First on Mishap, Steps in for Help

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu was the first to react on the tragedy that resulted in washing away of 24 Hyderabad Students in Beas river near Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. Soon after swearing-in, Chandra Babu has spoken to Himachal Chief Minister and directed him to swing in action immediately and offer all sort of help to the Hyderabad Students. Chandra Babu had reacted much prior compared to his counterpart-Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

The TDP chief's act got thumping response, cutting across political parties. Although Naidu was quite busy in his grand-gala swearing-in and busy interacting with high-profile guests including several Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and film celebrities, Naidu acted immediately on the tragic incident. With the latest incident, Naidu once again proved his dedication, sincerity to serve people, his wisdom and diplomacy.

24 students, who were on their way to Kulu Manali, stopped at the river rnside to click pictures. There was a sudden release of water from the Largi dam on the river in which the students are feared to have been swept away. The missing students have been identified as the second year Instrumentation Engineering Students of VNR Vignan Jyothi Engineering College.
