Tollywood A-listers have already been capitalizing on the indications from AP Government that the new capital will be located between Vijayawada and Guntur.

If the sources are to be believed, Tollywood biggies Jr NTR, Raviteja, Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Srikanth, Ashwini Dutt and many others have bought lands near Acharya Nagarjuna University, Gannavaram, Mangalagiri town, other parts of Vijayawada and Guntur.

Several Businessmen and Former/Current MPs-Ministers-MLAs have been purchasing as much land as possible in the past one month for real-estate operations after the formation of capital.

Mandasu Srinivasa Rao, the sub-registrar of Mangalagiri, states around 50 transactions have been done every day in the office. This is more than double the count of transactions which took place until May 2014.

Siddu Sleepless With Director-Producer Fight

After trying hard to impress Telugu audiences before falling like a comet from the sky, hero Siddharth has shifted his base to Chennai and kept himself busy with Tamil movies. From last three months, people are waiting to see releases of his two flicks Jigarthanda and Kaviya Thalaivan. Well, where are they?

In fact, Siddarth's Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj is supposed to release in summer only. Our hero is having lot of expectations on this flick and is expecting a big boon to his career post this release. But the fight between director and producer of Jigarthanda is giving sleepless nights to Siddu. Long back, Jigarthanda was censored and awarded 'A' certificate. But producer hoped to get tax exemption from Tamilnadu government and for that he asked director Karthik to re-edit the flick to make it suit for an 'U/A' certificate.

With director refusing to do so citing creative freedom, both of them are now fighting at respective Unions to resolve issues. Until then, Siddharth got to just wait and see, but nothing else.

Actress Faints after receiving SLAP from Director

Budding Actress Sri Priyanka lost her consciousness on the sets soon after she was being slapped by Director-turned-Actor Kalanjiyam as part a scene. She was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Prior to the shoot, Both Sri Priyanka and Kalanjiyam rehearsed for the slapping sequence. However, The actress mis-timed the shot and fainted as the slap landed close to her ear.

Speaking about the incident, Kalanjiyam explained: "This happened because of pure mis-timing and I too was shocked as the slap hurt Sri Priyanka so badly".

In fact, Kalanjiyam was the one who lodged complaint against Actress Anjali accusing her of unprofessionalism for refusing to shoot for his movie.

Sri Priyanka's Father, on the other hand, is worried about the health condition of his daughter. He also complains none for the unit have accompanied them to the hospital to enquire about her condition. He is in a dilemma whether to lodged a police complaint or take the issue to the notice of Directors Council.

Director unions complaint on Anjali

South Indian actress Anjali is yet involved in some real bad issues in industry and as per now she is been complained at Kollywood industry. As per reports a compliant on Anjali is been registered at Tamil film chamber and also at Tamil directors association and here is what happened.  

 

"Vikraman, President of the Director's Union says, "We will be talking to Anjali this week about Mu Kalanjiyam's complaint. We want to know why she has not completed the film and also why she has not been allotting dates for the shoot of his film. We intend to ask her to complete this film, to which she had committed to earlier before moving on to her other new projects. The Union's move comes at a time when rumours were doing the rounds that the actress might be banned from the Tamil film industry." 

 

But clarifying that there is no ban on her yet he said "We have never banned any actor from acting in Tamil films and hence, we won't impose a ban on her as well. It is a director's prerogative as to who he intends to cast in his film. But, morally the producer has been facing a huge loss and as an actor she has to finish her portions in the film. No actor can just walk off like that."

Over the past several months there have been many rumours concerning my health. My family members and close friends have received numerous phone calls from well wishers wanting to know if my health was OK, if I was in Coma or seriously injured etc. which has been painful to the say the least to my family.

There have also been several embarrassing rumours about my alleged relationship with Ms. YS Sharmila. I would like to categorically state that I have never met or spoken to Ms. YS Sharmilla and the rumours in circulation are completely baseless and have not even an iota of truth in them.

Earlier, I have not responded seriously to rumours concerning my health, hoping that they would fade away. I felt that ignoring these rumours was the best way to deal with them. However, I can't ignore rumours, which affect another individual and I have now decided to issue this statement, to strongly condemn them. They are insensitive, disrespectful and are damaging to the dignity and reputation of a well-respected individual who is married and a mother as well.

As you all know, I have no political interests. I am only issuing this statement as I am deeply hurt and I can understand the pain and trauma that can be caused to an individual by these kinds of baseless rumours and I am willing to do whatever is necessary to put and end to them once and for all.

I hope the Police and concerned authorities will take necessary action against individuals responsible for perpetuating and spreading these kinds of rumours specific to this case and in general as they have potential to cause irreparable damage to the reputation of concerned individuals.

KCR wants Vaasthu adjustment on roads also!

The obsession of new CM’s of AP and Telangana, Chandrababu and KCR with Vaasthu seems to be getting onto the nerves of officials in the state governments, particularly those who are located in Hyderabad. 

 

Crores of Rupees are being spent for last few weeks to make adjustments for their new camp office, secretariats that are now separate and other stuff but KCR seems to have gone one step ahead. 

 

Sources say that KCR has brought Vaasthu experts to check the condition of roads leading to secretariat, his camp office and his chamber and has requested officials to alter some curves and bends on roads to suit Vaasthu. 

 

Officials are not knowing what to do because this, according to them is way beyond what they can do and are confused as to how they can deal with the Vaasthu mania of these big leaders and now it is upto roads also!

Drunken Fan misbehaves with Shruti Haasan

Shruti Haasan lodged a complaint with Mussoorie police against a drunken fan for alleged misbehavior.

Reportedly, A Sirsa-based Man had knocked on the door of Shruti Haasan's hotel room after midnight in an inebriated condition. This incident took place when the actress was staying in Dehradun for the shoot of Bollywood flick 'Yaara' which is being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Initiating the preliminary probe, The Rajpur Police issued notices to Shruti's manager and the Accused asking them to co-operate for the investigation.

This is second such kind of incident for Shruti Haasan. The Chennai-beauty was attacked by a stalker in Mumbai last year. Some how, She managed to push him away and close the door of his apartment. As expected, is the farm loan waiver promises proving to be tough for the newly elected Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu? Well the answer may be yes, going by media reports. Just like how Jagan had warned, even knowing that it is utmost challenge to implement it, Naidu had to promise to win farmer votes.

Actress reveals she was raped at 6 and 12

Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson shot to fame with Baywatch series on the small screen. She shot to fame after she resorted to silicone pumps to enhance her looks.

The actress was at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her foundation, Pamela Anderson Foundation, a non-profit organization intended to protect environment, animal and human rights! That's not the news here. Pamela made a startling revelation that she is a victim of sexual abuse.

The former “Baywatch” star reveled at the Cannes Film Festival in France, claiming, "I wanted off this Earth" after she was raped by her brother’s friend and then gang-raped by her boyfriend (her first) and his six other aides.

Anderson said that a female babysitter molested her between the ages of 6 and 10, and then a 25-year-old brother of a friend raped her when she was 12. Later her boyfriend who thought it’s funny had gang-raped her along with his six friends.

The actress was quoted saying "This meant I had a hard time trusting humans," and “I just wanted off this earth.”

Akshay Kumar: Would prefer 5-month gap between my film releases

Akshay Kumar’s next film Holiday is slated to release on June 6. He plays the role of an Army officer in it.”The film is about sleeper cells – special terrorists who blend into society so well that no one realises who they are.

Holiday is an amazing film on what terrorism is all about and how army tries to capture sleeper cells,” he said. ”In the film, some army officers return home on a holiday and realise that the enemy is not only at the border but there are enemies inside their cities and villages,” he said.

The action-thriller is a remake of a 2012 Tamil film ‘Thuppakki’, written and directed by A R Murugadoss of ‘Ghajini’ fame. For Akshay Kumar Holiday is not a remake but a subject that he had selected first. “It was a fresh script and we were going to make it first in Hindi, but director A R Murugadoss had a condition that he first wanted to make the film in Tamil. ‘Thuppakki’ released in 2012 and got good response,” he said.

“Vipul Shah and I had gone for a narration. We sat with A R Murugadoss and after listening to the first half, I agreed to do the film. The first half was mind blowing,” he said.

Akshay will be seen doing real action sequences in the film. Greg Powell, the stunt coordinator of James Bond series ‘Skyfall’, has choreographed action sequences in ‘Holiday’.

“The film has very real action… You won’t see the kind of action I did in ‘Boss’ or ‘Khiladi 786′, where I would punch and 20 people would fly in every corner. We haven’t taken the help of cables. The kicks and somersault were all real,” the actor said.

The film features Akshay and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, along with Govinda in a supporting role.

“I must say she (Sonakshi) is professional and does her work properly,” he added.
