Anantapur Court issues Arrest Warrant against Dhoni

A court in Anantapur on Tuesday issued arrest warrant against Indian skipped MS Dhoni in connection with posing as Lord Vishnu for cover page of leading tabloid.

Y Shyam Sunder, a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activist, has filed a petition on the court in February this year accusing the cricketer of hurting religious sentiments of the Hindus. Similar petitions have been filed against MSD in cities like Delhi, Pune and others.

Dhoni didn't appear in the court despite issuing summons for thrice. Finally, An arrest warrant has been served and ordered the cops to present Dhoni in the court on July 16th this year.

In April 2013, Dhoni covered the Business Today edition. He was portrayed as Lord Vishnu with the sub-title 'God of Big Deals' and was seen holding the products of several companies including a show in his hand.
