TDP chief and AP CM said today that he was successful in enlightening the center and getting 65 MW more from the central quota to AP after his recent Delhi visit and meeting with officials..
He told the cabinet in an informal meet explaining his Delhi visit that they were convinced of his argument in the mistake and re allocated 65 MW of power to AP as per the AP reorganization Act criteria.
Naidu also said that center had also agreed to provide 4 lakh tones of coal to AP from Western Coal Ltd to tide over coal requirements of thermal plants in Andhra region which were starved for lack of coal supplies from Singareni and Thalcher.
