It’s known that many unverified news reports were doing the rounds about YCP leader sharmila and she lodged complaint on cybercrime and requested for stern action against culprits. She has requested the city Cyber Crime police to take action against search engines, including Google, for allegedly displaying her name prominently in the search results with regard to "baseless rumors" about her personal life.
Police already started working to nab the culprits and took two people into custody.Many people condemns the act for spreading malicious content with the intention to hurt Sharmila's public image. Now telangana Governemnt also came forward to support her. Telangana Information Technology Minister KTR said his government would initiate strict action against those people who optimized the internet search engines to show YSRCP leader Sharmila’s name in bad way. He said this was cyber crime and that the government would bring in special laws to curb such crimes. "It is true that some people intentionally targeting on the life’s of celebrities.
