Despite the fact that beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been charged with massive level of corruption, amassing disproportionate assets, and Enforcement Directorate (ED) has already got substantial proofs against Jagan, Union Government headed by Narendra Modi is dragging its feet over the issue.
There were reports before the general elections that ED was all set to run after him and his associates involved in various cases. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, who came into power on the promise of bring corrupt people like Jagan to the book, too tight lipped on the issue after polls.
Social activists, political analysts now expressing their displeasure over 'no action' taken against Jagan yet. Many started suspecting that whether Jagan's meeting with Narendra Modi, before he taken the oath as PM, has something to do with the issue? TDP leaders like Bojjala, Somireddy, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu have been targeting Jagan, yet TDP top brass remain mum and no action has been initiated. It's high-time both State and Centre should act sternly and confiscate the assets, properties of corrupt who brought great loss to public exchequer.
