New Hitec City in 10,000 acres in Seemandhra

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, who is well-known as HITEC CM, is all set to live up to his name. Babu is going to set up new HITEC City in Seemandhra, divulge top sources. As per the reports, the TDP chief is contemplating to recreate Hyderabad's Hi-Tec City in Krishna district.

Already, efforts are being made to accumulate land in the district. Following Babu's instructions, officials have located nearly 2000 acres of government land in Bapulapadu, about 5 Km away from Gannavaram Airport. Meanwhile, land is also identified in Nuzvid. The grand plan is to establish 10000 acre IT hub in the proximity of coming capital Vijayawada-Guntur.

The development model for the proposed IT hub is to lay broad roads, flyovers, and setting up infrastructure such as underground power lines and sewerage systems. And of course, to meet the other requirements Naidu wants to upgrade Gannavaram airport into international airport.
