Akkineni Akhil was recently seen in Akkineni family entertainer ‘Manam’ directed by Vikram Kumar. As it was prestigious project for the family, Nagarjuna roped in his son to play a short cameo. Though the role was brief, Akhil made his impact with elegant screen presence.
Including Mahesh Babu, many celebrities who watched Manam have boasted the young lad. Akhil will make full entry in films soon and it looks like Akhil’s debut is just round the corner if one goes through his tweets. Akhil tweeted "Hello my twitter buddies! As the summer leaves us and things are starting to cool down, I have announcements to make about my debut.

Inside reports say his father Nagarjuna is taking top most attention on zeroing on the script and ensuring that Akhil is trained and equipped in all departments. Talking about Akhil debut film Nagarjuna says, “Yes we are looking to launch him this year. Akhil is very focused on his acting debut. We have a couple of filmmakers in mind but the final call will be his.” So the day is not so far to welcome the Akkineni scion
