As expected, is the farm loan waiver promises proving to be tough for the newly elected Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu? Well the answer may be yes, going by media reports. Just like how Jagan had warned, even knowing that it is utmost challenge to implement it, Naidu had to promise to win farmer votes.
Now, though Telangana has so called surplus budget, KCR is on shaky ground to even give waiver of 30,000 crores. As for Andhra Pradesh, it has a deficit budget and farm loan waiver is coming upto 80,000 crores, which is a nightmare.
Sources say CBN is reportedly very much upset that he is unable to go forward and take proper decision regarding this. At the same looking at the backlash by T-farmers against KCR, he is apprehensive what would happen if he places more terms and conditions to reduce the waiver burned. The only way out could be another help from the centre or else Naidu will have to face the brunt.
