Well till now there has been only informal fights but now that two states have become a formality, the fight from now will be official. Here we are talking about the first issue of conflagration between the newly formed states. This is because the employee issues is all set to be the bone of contention between them.
The Andhra employee unions and leaders are very clear that there would be options, the Telangana unions and leaders are very much resistant that there wouldn’t be any options. Telangana CM designate KCR has reportedly said that the jobs will be given only to local candidates based on their place of birth, which according to him is a primary criterion.
At the same time rules stipulate something different. They state that an employee who has worked for more than 5 years at a place is to be considered local. It has to be seen what Andhra Pradesh CM designate Chandra Babu Naidu will say on this issue.
