When popular TV show sets caught fire
01Major fire on the sets of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev: Looks like sets of Television shows have become prone to fire damages. After the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil went in flames causing a lot of damage, the recent one to suffer is the sets of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.
Sources inform that on Tuesday morning at around 9 am, a major fire broke on the sets of Devon Ke Dev.. which is located at Naigaon (Maharashtra) causing a lot of damage. Everyone started running with all the major equipments like camera. Luckily, no one was hurt but the costumes that are used on the mythological series were burnt into ashes. The shoot has been put to halt for some time. Five fire engines were needed to bring the fire under control.
When contacted, Mohit Raina who plays Lord Shiva said, "Yes, it's true a major fire broke on the sets today morning but I don't have the details on it as I was not shooting on that set today."

The recent fire drama on the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil left audiences high and dry. However, fire on the sets of any TV show is not new to the industry but safety issues were raised after the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil turned to ashes.
Comedy Nights with Kapil: The sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil, a show hosted by Kapil Sharma, caught fire on 25th September, 2013. The set was so badly burnt that none of its parts were left in a good condition. The entire set turned into ashes within a few hours after the fire broke out. However with the same enthusiasm producer Kapil Sharma started shooting for the future episodes of the show on the sets of Bigg Boss season 7 and a temporary set was constructed. The exact reason behind the fire outburst is still not known. Thankfully no one was hurt.
FIR: The actors of SAB TV’s 7 years old long running comedy show F.I.R were disheartened when their sets caught fire on 13th December, 2013. However no casualties were found on the sets as it was well-equipped with fire extinguishers.
Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai : The sets of Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai turned partly into ashes on 30th July, 2013. The sets of Housewife… caught fire during the heavy monsoons this year. The reason behind the fire outburst was a short circuit caused due to the low quality of equipments that were left open without any safety measure.
Qubool Hai: On 21st October, 2013, producer Gul Khan stated that there was nothing to worry about on the sets of her show. This was her reaction to the short circuit that took place on her show Qubool Hai. Some parts of the set were burnt due to a lightning sequence on the show.
