After
all things done in Telangana, the parties are now speaking in favor of
the Seemandhra looking into their developmental issues. He said that its
long coastline as the gateway to prosperity, BJP’s prime ministerial
candidate Narendra Modi said the region could make the biggest
contribution to the energy sector of the country. He invited the youth
to enrol at the petroleum university in Gujarat and return to take
charge of development here.
He
said port management and marine engineering universities would be set
up in Seemandhra. Speaking about the Congress which he said was
responsible for the deaths of millions of farmers across the country, Mr
Modi said he would prevent farmer suicides by taking forward Atal
Behari Vajpayee’s plan of interlinking river waters. All this progress
would only be possible if the people voted in a strong government led by
CBN, he said. Mr Modi spent some time talking about the FIRs filed on
him for showing the BJP’s lotus symbol after voting in Gujarat.
“To
date in my entire life, not even a single FIR was registered against
me, not even for wrong-side scooter driving, and not even for wrong
parking. Suddenly today when I landed in Seemandhra I came to know that
an FIR has been registered against me.I will never forget April 30.”
