Jagan-Babu in danger?

Strange as it may sound but concerned that the IPL match is scheduled on the evening of May 7, which is a polling day for the Seemandhra region political parties particularly TDP and YSRCP are a worried lot.  They feel this may stop cricket-loving fans from coming out for casting their votes and these parties are reportedly appealing for the cricket match to be postponed.

Delhi Daredevils will play Kolkata Knight Riders on May 7 at the Feroze shah Kotla stadium in Delhi from 4 pm to 8 pm.  TDP general secretary Anuradha has reportedly petitioned CEO Bhanwarlal seeking postponement of the IPL match while EC has made it clear that they have no powers to stop IPL match played in faraway places such as Delhi.

Moreover Seemandhra has close to 10 urban centres like Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Guntur, Kakinada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Bheemavaram, Ongole and Kurnool which may ruin TDP-BJP’s vote share.
