After collaborating with Pitbull and will.i.am the the Exotic babe is ready to go solo and boy she is a stunner in her third track
Priyanka Chopra’s latest song I can’t make you love me is far more superior to her earlier songs In my city and Exotic. Not only is the PC rendition of Bonnie Raitt’s 1991 track completely different from the original, it also shows that Priyanka has grown as a singer too. She sounds unlike herself and is ready to take the international music scene by storm.
Ms Chopra is taking her role as an international artist seriously and has worked extremely hard at it – and it shows in this song. What’s fabulous is you get an ample dose of the Bollywood star’s acting prowess in the video. This pretty Chopra gal gives you a visual and audio treat packed in one number. She emotes with her voice and her eyes. And yes she is at her vulnerable and glamourous best.
Priyanka showcases emotions of love, passion and betrayal in this song. Daddy’s l’il girl does manage to paint this picture perfectly with the help of well known directors Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven who are best known for their work with international artists like Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. Romancing this Indian beauty is none other than American actor and heartthrob Milo Ventimiglia. What sets Priyanka‘s this video apart from her own work or from that of west is the actor-turned-singers talent to emote.
PC’s latest single made it to the No 3 spot on iTunes India in less than 24 hours of its release, and we will not be surprised if it soon hits the Numero Uno spot. Here enjoy our B-town star’s musical treat…
