EC to consider Chandra Babu's vote as invalid?

Telugu Desam Party President and the main opposition leader in the state Assembly, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu just committed a grave mistake. The leader along with his wife Bhuvaneswari, Son Lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmini voted in a polling booth of Jubilee Hills.

All of them stood in line and waited patiently till their turn arrived and cast their.  After casting the vote, speaking to media, Chandra Babu announced that he had to vote to BJP since both assembly and parliament are given to BJP as a part of the alliance.  "It is sad that I could not vote for Cycle symbol this time. But it is okay since we have tied up with BJP in the best interests of the nation", said Chandra Babu.

However according to the rules of Election Commission, a person who discloses his vote in open amounts to violation of model code of conduct and his vote may be considered as invalid.  The presiding officer now will decide up on the vote of Chandra Babu Naidu. It is sad to seem a politician of 35 years experience missing such minor but trivial rules.
