A day after the pictures showing him and a woman half of his age in a compromising position were leaked on the internet, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh admitted to his extra marital affair with TV journalist Amrita Rai. "I have no hesitation in accepting my relationship with Amrita Rai. She and her husband have already filed a mutual consent divorce case. Once that is decided we would formalise it," he told.
When asked about the leaked intimate pictures, Digvijay revealed that the computer and email of Amrita Rai has been hacked. He also condemned encroachment in their private life.
On the other hand, Amrita Rai who works for Rajya Sabha TV Channel too have admitted being in a relationship with Digvijay Singh and shared about plans to marry him after getting divorce from her husband.
Digvijay Singh is the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and his wife passed away in February last year. They have 4 daughters and a son.
