Its disheartening to see directors go on to rooftops with a single success. Legend director Boyapati Srinu falls in the list now. The ace director had taken 4 Crore remuneration for his recent film, Legend. It is known that the film had become a big hit and Boyapati is in demand now.
He will directing Mega Power Star Ram Charan in his next film now. He is taking 5 Crore remuneration for the film. This deal was closed long back before the release of Legend. So, the director had accepted for 5 Crore. A producer approached him for dates for a movie in 2015.
The director reportedly asked for 8 Crore remuneration for the movie. When the producer tried to bargain with him on remuneration part, Boyapati reportedly said, "Its better you settle for 8 Crore, if you come back after Charan's film, I will charge 10-12 Crore". Needlessly the producer was shocked and left the place. Time for some head weight reduction Mr. Boyapati! Over Confidence will hurt severely some times!
