Former Chief Minister and TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu has boasted full confidence that Telugu Desam Party is going to win with landslide victory in general elections 2014. Naidu thanked people for participating in voting, and extended his thanks to TDP party workers, supporters for working hard for the party.
Beaming Chandra Babu told in an exclusive interview to ETV soon after elections, "We're 1000% sure that TDP-BJP combine is going to form government in Seemandhra and going to play significant role in Telangana. People are going to give clear majority for NDA. We will play key role in both states and at Centre and make sure development takes place on either side with full support of Central government."
Narendra Modi and Pawan Kalyan's open support has definitely fetched NDA in pocketing more percentage of votes in Seemandhra. Babu alleged that Election commission and Governor merely failed in controlling attacks of YSR Congress party. Lashing out at Jagan, Naidu said, "He has mastered the art of organized crime. Single man has proved that how far he could go in wrong way. They (YSR Congress party people) resorted to manual attacks on TDP leaders, media, damaged media vehicles and on none other than police personnel. They distributed contaminated liquor (Kalthi Madyam) and fake currency notes to influence voters. What has EC and Governor done on these incidents?"
Not mincing his words, Chandra Babu compared Jagan Reddy to a "mad elephant" ("Madam pattina Enugu"). Naidu went on to allege that YSR Congress tried their best to lessen the voting percentage. Chandra Babu said high voting percentage is in favour of TDP-BJP pact. Chandra Babu said he is satisfied with voting percentage and reasoned that it is due to anger, frustration in people on incumbent Congress. Babu said JSP and Congress are seen no where in elctions. On parting note, Chandra Babu hoped TDP-BJP will be forming first government in Seemandhra and said development is his top priority.
