After being elected as the Prime Minister by BJP's Parliamentary Board, Narendra Modi got very emotional while addressed the leaders in the Parliament and the Nation.
Narendra Modi: "A poor man's son is standing in front of you Today. This is the power of Democracy! Like Country, BJP is my mother. I will only be dedicated to her and I am a disciplined soldier of the party. I have seen a new face of India - I have seen people in just one cloth yet holding up the BJP Flag. We are sitting here in the temple of Democracy not for any position but the hopes and aspirations of people. A good government is one which thinks of the poor and works to make their lives better."
"I don't believe UPA Govt did nothing. They deserve appreciation for whatever good they have done! We didn't get the opportunity to die for our country, so we must live for our country. Majority for BJP is nothing but vote for hope and trust. I am an optimistic person. I am here because of Senior Leaders and let's not forget the contribution of workers from Jan Sangh days. We want development for all and want everyone to work with us. I will present my report card when we meet in 2019. I will live for the country."
