Flash: Narendra Modi Resigns

After working as Gujarat Chief Minister for 13 years, Narendra Modi has finally resigned to his post. The star-hero of Bharatiya Janata Party will sworn in as Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014.   

Today, Modi submitted his resignation to Governor Kamla Beniwal. Prominent BJP leader and Gujarat state minister, 72 year old Anandiben Patel is likely to be announced as next CM of Gujarat in a couple of hours. Before resigning Narendra Modi spoke for one last time in a specially convened Gujarat assembly session, congratulation all this MLAs and other party MLAs too.  

'When I became CM, huge troubles are in front of me. But now Gujarat is on the path of success, and only Gujarat Model worked in favour of our win today', he said. 'Now, Gujrati will be spoken in Prime Minister's Office', quipped Modi, sending the assembly into laughs.
