senior leader and M P-elect from Secunderabad, Bandaru Dattatreya
expressed the view that it would have been better for the BJP, if it had
poll alliance with the TRS.
Speaking to the media here today, Dattatreya said that the party could not have alliance with the TRS due to some reasons. He felt that had the BJP entered into alliance with TRS, it would have won more seats in Telangana region. The BJP, which entered into a pact with TDP, has bagged one MP seat and five MLA seats in Telangana.
He said that the BJP needed the support of all the parties in running the Government in a smooth manner. He said that the Congress party lacked sincerity in regard to Telangana and that was why the people had defeated it in Telangana region. He said that under the leadership of BJP Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi, all efforts would be made to develop Telangana.
