shelving 100 crore project 'Ponniyin Selvan' with Mahesh and Vijay, ace
director Maniratham has reportedly shelved another project with Mahesh
and Nagarjuna, which is bound to dent the hard-earned image as one of
the top directors in India.
Nobody knows, why Roja director dropped these projects- due to over-budgeting or because big stars declined to do it. Both ways, it could affect Mani's stature, than the said stars, so its better for him to keep things under wrap, until official announcement is made. Just few flops like 'Kannathil...Muthamital.' and 'Kadal' scaled down Mani's career and its high time, he delivers a blockbuster or he would relegated to so-called directors list.
Truly, no could question Mani's visual and technical brilliance, but is unable to discover a good plot, then stars will follow him, until then his bad days would continue?
