Two Ladies Failing To Make Modi Dance

During the erstwhile Congress rule, whenever a regional party with 30+ MP seats used to sneeze, Centre used to catch cold. Especially Tamilnadu chief minister Jayalalitha and West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee used to show stars to the Government in Delhi. But 2014 is going to be a tight slap for all of them.

With Narendra Modi sending invitations to all the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation) country heads including Bangladesh and Srilanka for his swearing in ceremony on May 26, Mamta in Bengal and Jaya from TN are doing a big show. As Mamta got issues of water-sharing with Bangladesh, she don't want that country's PM or any representative attending Modi's swearing in. At the same time, Jayalalitha is making many Tamil leaders speak against Modi's decision of inviting Srilanka's president Rajapakse for the ceremony as they accuse him of killing Tamilians in Srilanka. If it is Congress government, definitely they would have danced to these tunes, but BJP has given clear indication that neighborhood countries including Pakistan are always important for India.

All this time Mamta and Jaya used to make Centre go on heels with their lucrative vote-bank based demands and always blackmail them saying that they will walk out of coalition. But Modi Sarkar is way beyond the magic number upon its own and people like Chandrababu with 18 MPs are hardcore part of NDA. So, Jaya and Mamta take rest!
