Babu not interested in UT status for Hyderabad?

Contrary to the popular perception that the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu may be seeking Union Territory status for Hyderabad, sources say  that something different has been revealed by him and this idea may have to be dropped.
Naidu is reportedly planning to make the new capital functional as quickly as possible and he does not want to stick to the city of Hyderabad for long. Already, the scouting has begun to identify the right area to mark as the capital for residuary Andhra Pradesh. It is being said that taken aback by the manner in which Andhras have been insulted in Hyderabad after working so hard, Naidu is also under pressure from his Kamma community to boost Vijayawada-Guntur stretch as the future.
In a way he also realizes that in case the UT Pandora box is touched so soon, it may give rise to another series of agitations and instead better focus can be given to build new capital. But whether the huge reserves of fund can be gathered or not is also a practical challenge for Naidu.
