Yes.. you read it right… Vikram is now into a huge demand now in the Telugu Film Industry. This is not the Tamil super star and hero Vikram fondly called to as Chiyan. This is the new director Vikram K Kumar, who is directed today released Akkineni family movie, “Manam”. He actually is a return from the Hindi cinema, Bollywood. His first movie is the biggest blockbuster success of young star Nitin, “Ishq”. That has not just changed the fate of Nitin, but also Vikram.
With the success of that film Akkineni Nagarjuna was impressed by the talent and the taking of the film’s debutant director Vikram K Kumar. Later Nag was further impressed and went spell bound after listening to a script penned by Vikram. That script was of the film Manam. Nag liked the way Vikram had mixed up the three generation heroes of the Akkineni family. Though Vikram had dealt with the legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, his taking in the film shows clearly that he was always sure about what he wanted from all his artistes.
Now, Nagarjuna is a proud producer to have gone in for a new director like Vikram for such a prestigious project involving all the three generations of his family. After the stupendous success talk of Manam on the very first day, there is been a huge turnout from many Telugu heroes showing interest now to do a film with him. Many of the top directors of Tollywood are now seeing a strong competitor in Vikram. As for the film circles, Mega star Chiranjeevi too is in the list and is almost at the top of the list. May be Chiru wants go in for a similar sort of celluloid to involve his family heroes for a single film!!!
