With the polls in Telangana coming to an end, All eyes were on the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment which is country's biggest constituency with over 30 lakh voters. Bookies have been cashing in on the situation by inviting as many bets as possible.
In Malkajgiri, Tough fight is expected between the candidates of five political parties. TDP - Malla Reddy, Congress - Sarve Satyanarayana, Lok Satta - Jayaprakash Narayana, TRS - Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao and YSR Congress - V Dinesh Reddy.
Nearly, 50% of the punters have been betting big on TDP candidate Malla Reddy who have the support of BJP. Their next choice is Congress candidate Sarve Satyanarayana and Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayana.
Sources say, V Dinesh Reddy will eat into the Congress vote bank and JP's inability to make Pawan Kalyan campaign for him played the spoilsport. On the other hand, Mynapalli mayn't show much impact here as Malkajgiri which is dominated by settlers willn't be in favor of TRS.
The bettings placed on TDP candidate were in a range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 10 lakh. The winners will get double the amount if their prediction comes true.
