Does Cross-voting help TDP victory in Nellore MP?

Nellore district is second best political district after Kadapa for YSRCP. Even TDP leaders also agreed that YSRCP has little edge in 10 Assembly Segments in the district. YSRCP is confident to win all 10 Assembly Segments along with Parliament in the district No one is expecting that TDP nominee Adala Prabhakar Reddy won Nellore Parliament to face mighty Mekapati. Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy won this segment in 2012 bye-elections with huge majority of 2.5 lakh votes.

As per YSRCP leaders, Mekapati again won this segment but not with huge majority like in 2012. But TDP leaders analyses differently on Nellore Parliament. They are confident that Adala will win this segment with 1 lakh majority. As per them, cross-voting took place in Kavali, Kovvuru, Nellore Rural and Nellore Urban Segments from Congress and YSRCP towards TDP Nellore Parliament Candidate. Internal fighting in YSRCP helps to TDP candidate.

Every YSRCP candidate from above segments made their campaign for Assembly leaving MP vote choice to the voters.  Congress voters cast their Parliament vote in Atmakur segment TDP Parliament candidate Adala Prabhakar Reddy. Cross-voting happened in few mandals in Ugayagiri Segment. TDP is strong in Kandukur in Prakasam district that comes under Nellore Parliament. After analyzing all these factors TDP is confident in gaining Nellore Assembly Segment.
