Palaparthi Roja, a B-Tech Student, has created a record in the ZPTC Polls. She is now the Youngest ZPTC as per the results announced on Tuesday!
Much to everyone's surprise, TDP fielded 22-Year-Old Roja in ZPTC polls held few months ago. Living up to the expectations of the party, She won against YSR Congress candidate Ullinkala Vijayalakshmi with a huge majority of 14,247 votes.
Ever since she filed her nomination as TDP Candidate, Roja promised development of Kadiyam Mandal (East Godavari) will be her top priority and campaigned extensively to send the message 'Swarnandra Pradesh' will be a reality only under Chandrababu Naidu's rule. In return, the people of 14 villages have offered her a thumping victory.
Palaparthi Roja's participation and victory in ZPTC Polls makes two things very clear. 1) TDP is the only party which gives good importance to Youth; 2) More percentage of Young are coming forward to play active role in politics these days. Hopefully, Roja inspires many more educated youth to foray into political arena!
