Brushing off the political risks he would be facing in the future, ace director SS Rajamouli openly affirmed his stand by supporting Loksatta chief Jaya Prakash Narayan during Elections 2014. While the result is disappointing as JP failed to get even deposit in Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency from where he is in fray, Rajamouli's reaction is a blessing in disguise. His honest confession of the fact sounded wonderful.
"We completely failed in making people believe we are serious contenders. But I sincerely thank the few people who believed in Lok Satta and the 1 lakh 75 thousand voters who voted for JP against money power. Your confidence will give the party strength to move forward," said Rajamouli. Isn't this statement the best we've ever heard from a person who lost in politics? Yesterday we have seen people like Jagan and Roja who claimed that they lost the battle because of "false promises made by Chandra Babu Naidu and Telugu Desam Party". Contrary to YSRCP top brass, Rajamouli hasn't done such mudslinging but simply accepted the reality, and showed his courage.
Also Rajamouli praised Pawan Kalyan's decision to not contest in these election will stand as an epic point in history and expected that NDA government will make proper use of it. Before retiring from the debate, the Baahubali director wished all the best for Naidu, KCR and NDA led by Narendra Modi. "All the best to all of us," he signed off. Don't you think Jagan Reddy need to learn a lot from Rajamouli? What say folks?
