Popular actor Srikanth wouldn't have even dreamt of drawing Rs. 1 crore pay cheque in his career and that to for a special role in Ram Charan's 'govindudu...' Even as hero, Srikanth pockets around 60 to 70 laksh, considering his limited 1.4 crore market, but he was fortunate for his latest project.
Initially, director Krishna Vamsi wanted to rope in seasoned star Venkatesh and everything was finalished but at the last moment, Venky walked out of the project and director was in a hurry to sign up a senior actor, since shootng was all planned and after discussing few names, director zereoed in on Srikanth (with whom he worked in 'Khadgam' and 'Mahatma') and signed him up.
Being under pressure, even producer Bandla Ganesh couldn't say no to the 'hefty pay cheque' demanded by Srikanth and now he is walking all the way to the bank. Luck taps your door, sometimes, what you say, guys?
