Dons Of Bollywood

Hollywood superstar, Russell Crowe quoted, "I like villains because there's something so attractive about a committed person - they have a plan, an ideology, no matter how twisted. They're motivated." True to that, our Bollywood villains too are motivated in their own way to enact the bad ass thoughts of their twisted minds.

Often when heroes take on the mantle of bad ass villainy, the emphasis is on their coolness, their attitude and their Hi-Fi stunt sequences. But the maximum emphasis is given on their looks, their on screen persona and some witty trademark dialogues like "Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, Namumkin hain!".

But the trend of villains saw a change when Sanjay Dutt played the modern day Kancha Cheena in Agneepath, his bald cruel avatar was terrifying. Just when you thought the age of bad ass villains was coming to an end, Bollywood has seen the rise of a whole new generation of rugged, good looking and terrifying villains. Let's take a look at the most memorable modern day villains of Bollywood...
Amitabh Bachchan He is the real and true don of Bollywood. He essayed his role in Don with a lot of style and grace.
Shahrukh Khan When many underestimated the guy's capability to replace the original don. SRK gave a brilliant performance in Don 2.
Sanjay Dutt Sanjay terrified us all with his look, acting and dialogues in Agneepath.

John Abraham For a guy who hasn't been able to act, portraying a bad ass don, Manya Surve in Shootout At Wadala was really tough. But he enthralled us all with his effective performance.
Ajay Devgan His performance as the Sultan Mirza in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai was intense and he is truly one of the best dons in Bollywood.
