Cross-voting in YSRCP due lack of co-ordination and Anti incumbency puts former Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao in dilemma on his victory. Dharmana was contested from Srikakulam Assembly Segment as YSRCP nominee. YS Jagan was finalized his candidature at eleventh hour. Dharmana also involved in Jagan’s DA assets case as Accused No.4. He decided to contest from YSRCP and test his luck.
There are reports that Dharmana’s victory is not easy this time from house wife and TDP Nominee Lakshmi Devi. Some of the workers in YSRCP cast their first vote to TDP to show their annoyance towards Dharmana and second to the Srikakulam MP Reddy Shanthi. On other side, Shanthi community voters also vote their vote to the Parliament to YSRCP and Assembly to the TDP. Reportedly, Dharmana has lost in both ways.
Congress candidate Chowdary Sateesh also split Dharmana vote bank. Employees and his Community votes went towards Sateesh. As per buzz, Sateesh also attracts SC/ST and Minority votes in the Segment. All these should go towards YSRCP. All these voters cast their vote to Congress for Assembly and another vote to TDP or YSRCP for Parliament. Anti incumbency and last minute change into YSRCP could affect Dharmana winning chances in Srikakulam.
