Hit & Run case: Top Hero to face 10 Years Jail

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan might face a jail term of upto 10 years as he was identified by two witnesses namely Muslim Sheikh and Munnu Khan on Tuesday in connection with 2002 Mumbai's Hit-and-Run case. They even told the court, the actor was in the driving seat at that time and he was so drunk that after committing the accident he came out of the car & fell down.

In September 2002, Salman Khan who was behind the wheel of his Toyota Land Cruiser had allegedly ran over a group of people sleeping on the pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra. One person was killed and four others were seriously injured in this accident. 

Initially, Salman Khan faced charges for causing death by negligence which could make him face a jail term up to 2 years if convicted. However, The court has enhanced the charged against the actor by making it a Culpable Homicide Not Amounting To Murder which might land him in jail for upto 10 years. 

Salman Khan is likely to face jail term for a maximum of 10 years as the two witnesses have identified him in court. The verdict of the court would not only upset the actor's directors, technicians and co-stars, but also his millions of fans.
