Jagan's Bail to end Soon. What Next?

It is very common knowledge that beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, has been facing innumerable corruption charges and he is now walking freely on bail. The latest buzz is that Jagan's bail term, which was issued on September 23, 2013 by Special CBI Court Hyderabad, will be ended this July.

If reports are to be believed, the Special CBI Court may not extend the bail term this time around as it apparently gathered strong evidences against the Pulivendula MLA. Speculation is rife that Jagan would be sentenced to jail again. Not long ago, Enforcement Directorate has attached his assets worth Rs 863 Crore. Going by fresh reports, ED is prepared to attach more properties of Jagan and his aides.

It may be recalled that Jagan's bail plea was rejected at least six times before finally approved on Sep 23,2013 with a set of conditions. He had been in jail from May 2012 to Sep 2013 and came out on bail after 16 months. Jagan was arrested on the charges of holding disproportionate assets with the help of quid-pro-quo when his father was the chief Minister.
