Gas spread for whole night in one-acre area?

The tragedy which has taken place today early in the morning when the GAIL pipeline exploded in East Godavari district is reportedly due to the negligence of ONGC and GAIL authorities. This is not the first time the authorities have taken things casually.

Sources say that the pipeline was two decades old and it was rusty which was repaired partially few weeks back. And the gas leaked from pipeline reportedly spread to a one acre area for the whole night. When a woman in household reportedly woke up in morning to light firewood at a kitchen in the village, the house caught fire including the whole village, the coconut plantations and even many animals died immediately catching fire.

After the disastrous Pasarlapudi blow out incident in 1995, to this day it looks like Konaseema is sitting on a gas bomb with many pipelines crisscrossing the region, also a perfect recipe for disaster in the future too.

TV9 and ABN telecasts to be restored in TG!

In all probability, the telecast of the banned News Channels TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy will be restored very soon in Telangana region. ABN Andhra Jyothy had knocked the doors of high court opposing the ban. The High court had directed Hyderabad Police Commissioners and Collectors of all Telangana districts to look in ABN's petition.

The court also issued a notice to MSOs Association, Association President Subash Reddy and Central Government regarding the ban and posted the next hearing on to July 3rd. ABN Andhrajyothy in the petition alleged that the ban was imposed only on hidden political agenda and it has not aired any defamatory or false news wantedly or unwantedly. They also mentioned that the channel management had already complained about the issue to concerned officials, Central government and the governor but no action was taken and the ban continued.

Experts say that MSOs have no right to regulate the telecast of a channel. They can not issue directives to any channel regarding what should be aired and what should not be aired. So, they say the ban will be lifted very soon.

Kamalanathan Committee’s shocker to Telangana?

The C R Kamalanathan committee which has been created to allocate state government employees to the two states of AP and Telangana has reportedly decided not to meddle with any appointments which are made against the Presidential Order, which is expected to trigger a controversy.

The committee will reportedly finalize its guidelines for distribution on June 30 and seek objections from employees before forwarding it to Centre for approval. After the approval is secured, the staff distribution process is expected to be wrapped up by March 2015. The Kamalanathan committee has reportedly taken a decision not distribute employees recruited in the open category on the basis of merit as it may invite legal wrangles.

At the same the committee has also reportedly decided not to alter nativity rules as demanded by some TRS leaders and will be only following the service registers of employees to establish their nativity. Though TRS leaders are reportedly demanding that different aspects be taken into account to decide on employees’ nativity, the committee is reportedly not in a mood to accept the same because experts feel it would lead to bigger problems when it starts dividing 54,000 employees who need to be divided between the two states.

Baahubali Is The Father Of Kochadaiyaan

Of course, this is not about the biological link or any other relation we want to make regarding these two legendary characters, of which we have seen one already and one is in the offing. Let us talk about already released 'Kochadaiyaan' and 2015 release 'Baahubali' folks.

Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan is a flop show at box office, but the film stands somewhat tall in Indian cinema for extensive use of graphics, motion capturing and visual effects. However, any movie that lacks on content part is going to end up in trash can only. Coming to Baahubali, VFX of this movie are going to be the double of what we have seen in Kochadaiyaan.

Almost all the scenes and shots in this magnum opus are said to be getting a touch of visual effects and animation. In this two-part flick, loads of action sequences, war scenes and violent chases are taken to next level through computer graphics only and director Rajamouli is leaving no stone unturned to present Baahubali in the range of 'The 300' and 'Troy'.

Looking at the way this flick is consuming huge time for pre-production and post-production we could easily guess that efforts are on the way to make it father of Kochadaiyaan.

I Can't Leave My Husband: Heroine

Till date, this hot 32 year old siren has given run for the money for many producers and their big projects. With 100 Crore collecting ventures like 3 Idiots, Ra.One, Golmaal 3 and Bodyguard on her kitty, Kareena Kapoor is that one star heroine who cannot ignore.

But surprisingly the actress itself is not picking up any meaty roles and art flicks these days. Though Kareena acted as prostitute in Chameli at a time when she is just 21, now she is reluctant. 'I've done enough art flicks to prove my mettle. Right now I'm looking only for commercial movies', Kareena said. But then why are you not signing plush projects offered by Karan Johar? She replies in a pat, 'I'm married and can't leave my husband for 3 months to shoot abroad. I can't bear the separation'.

Shooting abroad is no big reason for an actress of Kareena's stature to tell, as her husband Saif Ali Khan could join her easily at the shooting spot whenever he is free. Looks like Kareena don't want to give Saif a chance.

GAIL explosion: Stringent action on Officials!

AP CM Chadrababu Naidu said stringent action will be taken against every official for negligence which led to disastrous incident at Nagaram village where women, children, aged have been hit by the volcanic fire and heat in the early hours when most of them were asleep.

Naidu today cancelled all of his appointments at Delhi and is rushing back to Rajahmundry by a direct special flight along with Union petroleum and finance ministers. Petroleum minister Pradhan who is accompanying Chandrababu said the fire after the explosion had been contained and gas flow in pipeline will be stopped temporarily. Prime Minister Modi has announced an ex gratia of Rs. two lakh for the dead and Rs.50,000 for the injured.

The gas pipeline explosion was a ghastly wake up call for the sleepy villagers of Nagaram where 14 villagers including two children and three aged persons were burnt alive in the fire which spread across the village after the explosion. Fifty houses, shops and hundreds of coconut plants have been charred in the fire.
